Oceanside

Oceanside

Great is a community known for its surf breaks, miles of sandy beaches, a vibrant and growing foodie and craft brewery scene, the historic Oceanside Pier, which is California’s longest wooden pier featuring a 50’s style diner at the end, and the list goes on. Oceanside is, as the name suggests, a coastal community with multiple neighborhoods and a variety of vibes. You can relax on the shores in your coastal cottage and walk to your favorite coffee shop or restaurant while watching the surfers line up for the next set of waves, or you can enjoy vast, panoramic views from your midcentury modern Fire Mountain home, or you can enjoy a more suburban lifestyle from tract home developments with easy access to shopping.
No matter where you live in Oceanside, you have all of the conveniences close-by with the 78 corridor which hosts exits featuring all the major grocery chains, big box stores, and shopping malls. Oceanside sits on the Pacific Ocean and borders Carlsbad to the south, Camp Pendleton to the north, and Vista to the east. Oceanside is a central location for those looking for a cooler coastal environment while commuting east toward Vista, Escondido, and Temecula and is an easy drive for military service members who work on base at Camp Pendleton and even for commuters north into Orange County. In
the last 10 years, Oceanside has blossomed with new locally-owned restaurants, hip taverns, Breweries and brew pubs, and coffee shops. With a rich history and a thriving local scene, I believe Oceanside is one of the last San Diego communities where you can find a coastal home bargain.

Residents and visitors to Oceanside enjoy being in a centralized So Cal hub with easy access to the I-5 freeway, Hwy 78, Hwy 76, historical Hwy 101, and the rail lines with access to the Sprinter east/west, the Coaster north/south, and the Amtrak for even further north and southbound routes.

Why live here? People live in Oceanside for great amenities, the amazing coastal views and beach town experience all while having affordable housing options, rising home values as more people “discover” how great the city is, and having a sense of community with its coastal character and neighborhood feel. For those who are not as interested in the sand and waves, there are tract developments with larger homes and larger lots which also share close proximity to shopping and transit.
